Today was an experience never to be forgotten. We boiled water (lots of water), steeped the grain, boiled the hops, boiled the malt, boiled the bittering agents, cooled the batch added liquid yeast and put it away in a dark, damp dungeon where it will dance until ready. What a wonderful blessed life we have. As Martha’s Great Grandfather put it, “Beer is proof that God loves us….”

Here’s to a successful day of brewing.

Find friends who love beer (Colin, Ross). Find someone who has a micro brewery in their house (Colin). Get them to trust you into their secret society, AND BAM, You are in.

Get all your  hops, yeast, barley, malt, sugars, and special herbs together and get ready for the big day, Brew Day One………

Not going to jail…….. Had to go to the Tucson Police Station to get fingerprinted. Apparently when getting my contractor license they require a full fledged FBI back round check. And, yes this includes fingerprinting.
