Today was an experience never to be forgotten. We boiled water (lots of water), steeped the grain, boiled the hops, boiled the malt, boiled the bittering agents, cooled the batch added liquid yeast and put it away in a dark, damp dungeon where it will dance until ready. What a wonderful blessed life we have. As Martha’s Great Grandfather put it, “Beer is proof that God loves us….”

now this is an excellent blog entry - I’d be interested in knowing what was paid for the kit to make this brew and how much does it make?

Well it all depends how serious you are about brewing. Our set up would cost around $200. This of course would be a one time fee everything is glass or stainless steel. This would have everything you need to brew. A “Kit” that would be all the ingredients would run about $35 to $50 depending on what you want to brew. It would make about 2 cases. That is 48 bottles of beer.

When you are in uncomfortable position and have no money to go out from that, you will have to take the credit loans. Just because that should aid you definitely. I get student loan every year and feel myself OK just because of this.

I was reading a novel by Pearl S. Buck concerning China and life in general for the Chinese people in the past . It was a very interesting novel about how the Chinese people lived their lives and about their wonderful beliefs and traditions .
